So, it's not that I've been the most avid updater at the best of times, but I really have to make it official that these days I'm much more active in FB and Plurk. I mainly use my LJ account to check my groups and friends pages, but you're much more sure to catch me in either of the above mentioned places. Finland has been struck by a wave of tornadoes and heavy thunder. When it's not too hot to move it's too rainy to go outside. This bites. Last night I spent on the living room couch so that the dogs would not panic as the thunder was directly above us. Lucky it was just a short shower, but yesterday a bunch of people got hurt when a tornado struck a rock festival and destroyed one of the stages. I'm 26 and I can never remember it being this bad before. GLOBAL WARMING IS COMING!11!1

Seriously though, maybe I need to invest in a tub full of ice and a servant to fan me with a giant leaf.

Well, it's official now. I need physical therapy to fix my back. Plus my doctor suspects I might have an infection in my hip joint, which would better explain the stinging sensation than my usual trouble. Being sick = can't do any physical work = no money = oh shit. Well, at least I can still do the billing for our own business, so I might just make enough to pay the most important bills.

On other news, why does the end of Inuyasha still make me cry? The anime is not even that good, and even the manga had some dodgy moments, but the last part where Inuyasha and Kagome are reunited always means it's tear city here. Had to wait until now to watch it so that my little sister and her new boyfriend wouldn't catch me bawling my eyes out, but now that they are safely back in the Netherlands I can't watch movies at night again and cry and rage all I like without fear of keeping someone up.

It's still too hot. GLOBAL WARMING IS COMING! WE DIDN'T LISTEN!

Finnish summer is not supposed to be like this! I hate heat. Bought a new fan and it's helping a little, but still too hot. Labradors don't want to come out of the water, poor things. I'm glad I'm not covered in fur.

..who just fucks around, apparently. Went to see my doctor, and he send me to the lab for some blood tests, so now just wait if something comes from that.

I PROMISE to check up on everyone soon, it's just that my health has really been getting me down. Getting a bit better now though, so maybe the sun is affecting my mood/health ^_^

Wow, I have been neglecting my LJ lately. Sorry for all my friends who still give a toss about that. The reason for my recent absense is twofold. Firstly, my broken keyboard, which made it damn difficult to write anything. If you want to simulate the situation, just imagine that your keyboard was lacking all the keys from < to - and you can see my difficulties. Reason number two is that I'm on a new medication, which seems to work fine aside from the slight side-effect which makes me sleepy. Veeeeery sleepy. I-can't-believe-I-slept-14-hours-and-I'm-still-tired sleepy. I'll try to catch up as soon as possible.

I got a PS3!! I've been wishing for it for years and finally I got a PS3! *swoons in extacy*

So what else? Some new kitchen supplies...a blender, a new external hard-drive, a couple of good DVDs. Basically, I got everything I wanted. Now I'm trying to catch up on sleep after a pretty heavy New Years. Went to my friend Anri's place, where me and my best buddies proceeded to watch a couple of movies and most importantly had a two day marathon of playing Shadow of the Colossus. That's one good game, and I can't wait for the Last Guardian to hit the stores. They are making SotC movie, which I'm kind of confused about. How can you make a movie about a game which has practically no dialogue, no plot and only three central characters, one of which is a horse and one of which is dead. They better make the fight scenes fantastic, that's the only way this movie can be a success. At least the music is glorious and as a game it truly is one of the best. Observe
